nylanders days may be numbered but i think he will stick around till Backstrom comes into his own, i mean they are both sweeds. But the guy that might get traded is Boyd gordon or david steckle, who i think is agreat player and we should keep. But that russian connection on the power play is going to be powerful. And as to Theodore he says he is going to be in great shape and is excited to come to washington so he will preforme, he was only signed for 2 years so he is playing for a contract and if he folds we can get rid of him. As for the D, we need to resign morrison and get a veterin and we should be good. And yes i do smell a cup coming to DC in the not to distant future.

I am thinking Nylanders days as a Cap are numbered. He's making $5.5 a year and he missed most of last year with an injury. I would not be surprised to see him traded. Brooks Laich is re-signed now also, so the Caps will finally have some depth at forward. Now hopefully the D can step it up and Theodore returns to his 2001 form and I think they are a solid contender in the East

I love the deal, but the question is how do all the forwards fit in--especially with a healthy Nylander and Clark. Federov will definitely help on the penalty kill and be a great influence on Alex Semin.
