    Sabres Sign Defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin to Two-Year Deal

    The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin to a two-year deal with an AAV of $2.75 million.

    The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin to a two-year deal with an AAV of $2.75 million.

    Lyubushkin split the season between Arizona and Toronto, recording 15 points and 51 PIM in 77 games. 

    A physical presence, the Sabres are getting someone who's tough to play against, can play a shutdown role and isn't afraid to go 1-on-1 against team's top players/
