The Cleveland Monsters have signed forward Tristan Ashbrook to a professional try-out, it was announced earlier this week.
Ashbrook, who made his debut with the Monsters Friday against Providence, did not register a point but has collected four points in eight games with the Cincinnati Cyclones.
With this being his second full pro season, Ashbrook spent all of 2023-24 with the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder, registering 57 points in 69 regular season games.
Prior to turning pro at the end of the 2022-23 season, Ashbrook played four seasons in the NCAA with RPI and Michigan Tech.
With this being Ashbrook's first opportunity in the AHL, he has the chance to earn a contract and stick with the team. Having proven to be a dynamic player at the ECHL level, Ashbrook should have the ability to find success with the Monsters.
