Chisholm spent the majority of the season in the NHL but did see time with the Manitoba Moose

The Minnesota Wild have re-signed defenseman Declan Chisholm to a one-year deal, it was announced Saturday.

A product of Bowmanville, Ont., Chisholm spent the majority of the 2023-24 season in the NHL with the Wild and Winnipeg Jets. In two games with the Jets, Chisholm collected an assist. After being claimed on waivers by the Wild in January, he had eight points in 29 games with the team.

Chisholm also spent six games with the Manitoba Moose, putting up five assists.

Since turning pro at the beginning of the 2020-21 season, this past season was the first one where Chisholm was able to establish himself as a full-time NHL player.

As he joins the Wild for his first full season with the team, Chisholm will likely be a daily option for the team next season and into the future.
