Lundmark spent the 2023-24 season with the Manitoba Moose

The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed defenseman Simon Lundmark to a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Friday.

A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Lundmark spent the entire 2023-24 season playing for the Manitoba Moose. In 67 regular season games, he scored five goals and added 12 assists for 17 points. He also appeared in two playoff games with the Moose but didn't register a point.

Drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2019 NHL Draft, Lundmark has yet to make his NHL debut. With this past season marking his third in North America, he has seen 188 AHL regular season games, collecting 48 points across that time.

As Lundmark enters his fourth season with the Moose, he has what it takes to make his NHL debut but will have to prove that in training camp or with his play in the regular season.
