Milwaukee Admirals defenseman Jordan Gross has signed in the KHL with Dinamo Minsk, it was reported Friday.
A product of Maple Grove, Minn., Gross spent the entire year in the AHL with Milwaukee where he scored six goals and added 16 assists for 22 points in 42 regular sedans games.
Gross also saw 12 games in the Calder Cup playoffs with the Admirals, registering an assist in the process.
Since turning pro at the end of the 2017-18 season, Gross has played for the Arizona Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche and Nashville Predators organizations. In 25 career NHL games across parts of four seasons, Gross had three goals and four assists for seven points.
As Gross makes his way overseas, he will most likely play a big role for Dinamo Minsk. While he was solid in the AHL this past season, Gross chooses to make the trek to Russia and could potentially play himself into another deal in North America when his contract runs out.
