The Milwaukee Admirals have signed defenseman Turner Ottenbreit to a one-year deal, it was announced Wednesday.
Ottenbreit, a product of Yorkton, Sask., has not played during the 2024-25 season but spent last year playing in the KHL with the Kunlun Red Star. In 64 games, he scored one goal and added seven assists for eight points.
Having turned pro at the end of the 2017-18 season, Ottenbreit has previous AHL experience, playing parts of four seasons with the Iowa Wild and one with the San Antonio Rampage. Through 179 career AHL regular season games, he's put up 10 goals and 39 points.
With Ottenbreit now scheduled to suit up for the Admirals, he could step in and play a solid role for the team. Three seasons removed from 20 points in 68 AHL games, Ottenbreit has shown he can produce offensively.
