The Vancouver Canucks have assigned forward Nils Aman to Abbotsford, the team announced Sunday.
The move comes after Aman was placed on waivers Saturday and went unclaimed.
A 2020 sixth round pick of the Colorado Avalanche, Aman started the season with the Canucks, collecting two assists in four games.
Since coming to North America at the beginning of the 2022-23 season, Aman has appeared in 115 career NHL regular season games putting up seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points.
While Aman has not spent a lot of time in the AHL, in the games he has seen, he has produced admirably. With 24 points in 32 career AHL games, Aman should slot immediately into the top six and will help bolster Abbotsford's offensive game.
