St. Ivany spent the majority of the 2023-24 season playing for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced they have re-signed defenseman Jack St. Ivany to a three-year extension, Penguins' GM Kyle Dubas announced Tuesday.
The contract will see St. Ivany make $775,000 annually at the NHL level.
St. Ivany, a native of Manhattan Beach, CA., played for both Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this past season.
In 14 games for Pittsburgh, he collected one assist. With Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, St. Ivany collected 15 points in 54 regular season games and was held pointless in two playoff games.
A 2018 fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers, St. Ivany never signed with the Flyers and became a free agent where he elected to sign with the Penguins on Aug. 20, 2022.
Prior to turning pro, St. Ivany spent four seasons in the NCAA split between Yale and Boston College - collecting 60 points in 115 career games.
After spending the end of the season with Pittsburgh, St. Ivany could very well play himself into a full-time NHL role next season.
