PWHL Toronto will be playing their home playoff games at the Coca-Cola Coliseum, the PWHL announced Tuesday.
Toronto, who has played their regular season games out of the Mattamy Athletic Centre, will be shifting to a bigger capacity for the playoffs.
Coca-Cola Coliseum, home of the Toronto Marlies, has a capacity of over 8,000 for hockey which is a big step up from the 2,600 seats that fill the Mattamy Athletic Centre's arena.
With the massive following seen across the PWHL during its inaugural season, this move is great for PWHL Toronto supporters.
When season tickets went on sale back in December, fans remarked at how fast they sold out, leaving many to be disappointed.
With NHL venues being sold out during the regular season, it would not be a surprise to see the Coliseum sell out quickly.
As the PWHL semi-finals are scheduled to get underway next week, the most exciting hockey the PWHL has to offer is just around the corner.
