Wagner spent last season playing for the Chicago Wolves

The ECHL's Rapid City Rush have signed forward Ryan Wagner to a one-year deal, the team announced Tuesday.

Wagner, a product of Park Ridge, Ill., spent last season playing for the Chicago Wolves where he scored three goals and added seven assists for 10 points in 63 games.

Since turning pro at the end of the 2017-18 season, Wagner has played the majority of his career in the AHL, collecting 82 points in 294 career regular season games.

Prior to turning pro, Wagner played for the University of Wisconsin (NCAA), putting up 36 goals and 52 assists for 88 points in 143 games.

As Wagner joins the Rush, this will be his first time seeing the ECHL since the 2019-20 season. A veteran forward capable of contributing when needed, Wagner will be one to watch when the season opens.
