Both players started the season in the AHL with Coachella Valley

The Seattle Kraken have recalled defenseman Cale Fleury and forward John Hayden, the team announced Monday.

Fleury, a product of Calgary, Alta., was recalled by the Kraken recently when Vince Dunn went down with an injury. In four games with the Firebirds this year, he has scored three goals and collected an assist.

Drated by the Montreal Canadiens in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft, Fleury was selected by the Kraken at their expansion draft and has been a member of the organization since then. Over the course of 63 career NHL regular season games, he has two points.

Hailing from Chicago, Ill., Hayden is in his third season in the Kraken organization. With the Firebirds this year, Hayden has collected three assists in four games.

Drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the third round of the 2013 NHL Draft, Hayden has 249 career NHL regular season games under his belt and has put up 37 points in the process.

With the Kraken scheduled to take on the Montreal Canadiens Tuesday, both players stand the chance to draw into the lineup.
