The 2022 third-round pick of the Rangers just finished his season with the Soo Greyhounds

Soo Greyhounds forward Bryce McConnell-Barker has been re-assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack, Rangers GM Chris Drury announced Tuesday.

A native of London, Ont., McConnell-Barker was drafted by the Rangers in the third round (97th overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft and just finished his third full season in the OHL.

While he spent time on the sidelines this season with an injury that kept him out for 14 games, McConnell-Barker had another impressive season with the Greyhounds, finishing with 22 goals and 29 assists for 51 points in 52 games.

Over the course of his 188 game OHL career, he has scored 75 goals and added 102 assists for 177 points.

Eligible to return to the OHL next year for his over-age season, McConnell-Barker will be getting great experience for any young player: exposure to the professional level.

While it is unclear if or where McConnell-Barker will slot into Hartford's lineup, the Wolf Pack are slated the begin their second-round series against the Providence Bruins tonight.
