Benjamin Wendorf is a writer for The Hockey News as well as a columnist at The Chicago Tribune, focusing on hockey analytics, data visualization, and NHL history. He has been writing about the NHL for 5 years as an editor and/or author at blogs Behind the Net, Arctic Ice Hockey, NHL Numbers, and most recently Hockey Graphs. His love of hockey started with the youth league his father and a friend started in Phillips, Wisconsin, which continues to run (and play outdoors) today. Oh, and he was also a Zamboni driver.
