The ECHL currently has five teams with fan-attendance ranking higher than 25 teams in the American Hockey League
It's no state secret that there are some dedicated fans across the ECHL.
With an average attendance of 4515, hundreds of thousands of fans across North America take in the premiere AA pro-hockey organization in the world.
Though, as in life, not all fan bases are created equally.
Five teams across the ECHL have attendance figures above 7400, which is higher than the attendance for 25 teams in the American Hockey League.
For the 2023-24 season, the Jacksonville Icemen lead the league with a whopping average of 9767 fans, more than any ECHL or AHL organization this season.
Fort Wayne, Toledo, Tulsa, and Orlando all clock in above 7400.
The top five AHL teams include the San Diego Gulls with 8948 fans, followed by Cleveland, Hershey, Coachella Valley, and Laval.
