Oliver Ekman-Larsson Turning Back the Clock a Decade...
On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Moritz Seider, DET vs. NSH (98% rostered) - FanDuel $5,700
Seider's real-life value may be higher than his fantasy, though he is no slouch on the latter. His two assists and seven blocks shots Monday upped his season totals to 13 assists, 16 points, 59 shots on goal, 43 hits and 43 blocks through 23 games. As seen from that stat line, Seider is best deployed in leagues that go beyond the normal scoring categories. Even if your league only has scoring, he is on pace for new career-highs in assists and points.
Luke Hughes, DET vs. NSH (87% rostered) - FanDuel $4,600
Hughes started 2025-26 slowly, notching just one point in six games. He has picked up his scoring pace lately, posting a goal and seven helpers his last eight contests. Hughes notched 47 and 44 points, respectively, his first two full seasons in the league. Dougie Hamilton still mans the point on the first power play in New Jersey but Hughes still is seeing a solid two minutes of ice time per contest on the man-advantage.
Jakob Chychrun, WAS vs. WPG (99% rostered) - FanDuel $6,300
Chychrun is on early pace to lay waste to the career-best season he notched last season. He has gotten onto the scoresheet in eight straight contests, racking up five goals and 11 points during this stretch. Through 23 games this season, Chychrun is now up to eight goals and 21 points after posting 20 markers and 27 helpers last season. The prevailing view in the past was that Chychrun had only scratched the surface of his talent, he is making that scouting report accurate.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson, TOR @ CLM (51% rostered) - FanDuel $3,900
OEL is hitting the scoresheet at a rate like he did a decade ago while he was a member of the Coyotes. In 2015-16, Ekman-Larsson tallied 21 goals and 34 assists in 75 contests as a 24-year-old blueliner. Fast forward 10 years and OEL has hit the scoresheet in six straight contests and nine of his last 10, adding a pair of markers and seven helpers to his total. He is now up to three lamplighters and 13 apples in 22 appearances.
