On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. Luke Hughes, NJ vs. MIN (93% rostered) - FanDuel $6,200
Hughes got off to a blazing start, notching four assists his first two games of the season. Since then, he has been shut out his last three contests. New Jersey is still deploying Dougie Hamilton as the top unit power play quarterback, though that has changed at times game to game. Hughes' PP TOI has fluctuated, with each odd-numbered game ranging from 1:08 to 1:25 and each even-numbered contest at 4:13 and 5:23. If that pattern continues, since this is game six, look for Hughes to garner lots of man-advantage ice time.
Rasmus Dahlin, BUF vs. DET (99% rostered) - FanDuel $6,500
Dahlin, unlike Hughes, failed to score the first games of the season. He has not been stopped since, racking up five apples as he tallied in each of the next four contests. Last season, Dahlin lit the lamp 17 times, adding 51 helpers, with his total just five shy of his career-high set in 2022-23. Dahlin is the igniter of the Sabres' attack on the power play while also racking up triple digits in both hits and blocked shots.
Rasmus Andersson, CGY vs. MTL (44% rostered) - FanDuel $5,600
Zayne Parekh is the Flames' future top offensive blueliner. That change has not yet happened as Andersson is still filling that role. Calgary also has every reason to showcase Andersson as he will be a free agent after the season and is looking a bit unlikely to re-ink with the team. Since an Opening Night win, Calgary is in the middle of a six-game losing skid, scoring just eight goals. Andersson has notched two of those eight goals, indicating his value.
