On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.
Kris Letang, PIT vs. STL (26% rostered) – FanDuel $4,800
Letang saw his production fall from 51 to 30 points last season. He started this season like that total might not be reached. But he has turned it around recently, earning four points over his last four games, accounting for all of his offense this season. Pittsburgh is 6-2-1 on the season, aided by strong play up front but also from both netminders as well as Letang and Erik Karlsson.
Charlie McAvoy, BOS vs. OTT (92% rostered) – FanDuel $5,600
McAvoy, after missing the last 30 games of the 2024-25 season, got off to a slow start with just one assist his first four games this season. He has started to heat up with five helpers his last six contests. McAvoy is seeing his usual heavy workload, skating 24:28 a game, including 3:40 on the man-advantage. If McAvoy can stay healthy, a return to his 2021-2024 production certainly looks possible.
