On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues and/or for daily fantasy games.

    Sam Carrick, C, NYR @ TOR (3% rostered) - FanDuel $3,400
Before you go crazy with Carrick listed here, hear me out. The Rangers' offense, solely on the road has struggled, tallying no goals in three games, while on the road, they have notched 10 goals in two contests. Thursday's game is on the road. In addition, coach Mike Sullivan has shown the fourth line consisting of Carrick, Matt Rempe and Adam Edstrom late game love, making Carrick worth a look.

Mackie Samoskevich, RW, FLA 2 NJ (9% rostered) - FanDuel $4,400
Samoskevich, due to injuries, is seeing time on the Panthers' top line. With a goal and a pair of assists in four games, prior to Wednesday's contest, he is off to a nice start. Samoskevich is seeing around the same amount of ice time as last year but he is playing 45 seconds more per contest on the man-advantage. Roll with Samoskevich while he is on that unit.

Jonathan Marchessault, RW, FLA @ NJ (43% rostered) - FanDuel $5,500
Marchessault posted solid but not great numbers last season, his first in Smashtown. His 21 goals and 35 helpers were 13 points less than he tallied the prior season. in addition, he dropped from a minus-two to a minus-29 as the Predators suffered through a rough campaign. Marchessault is off to a solid start to 2025-26, notching a pair of markers and as many helpers in four contests as he and the team both look for an improved campaign.

    Mark Scheifele, C, WPG @ PHI (99% rostered) - FanDuel $6,800
All Scheifele does is produce. Three games played, six points notched. In the past three seasons, Scheifele has gone from 68 to 72 to 87 points. With Kyle Connor on one wing and Gabriel Vilardi the other, would anyone be shocked if Scheifele raised his production again? He is becoming close to a cinch to dent the scoreboard and $6,800 is not a bad price for a point-per-game player.

Martin Necas, RW, COL @ CLM (98% rostered) - FanDuel $6,900
Necas more than settled in nicely after arriving in Colorado last season, tallying 11 goals and 17 assists in 30 games. Early this season, he is making that production look like a piker produced that amount. Necas has already posted three markers and five helpers in four contests. A free agent after the season, Necas is playing for a new long-term deal and off to a tremendous start.

Pavel Dorofeyev, LW/RW, LV vs. BOS (90% rostered) - FanDuel $6,200
The price on Dorofeyec in DFS continues to rightly rise. Dorofeyev had his breakout season last year, going from 13 goals in 47 games to 35 markers in 82 contests. The nickname Cy Young could apply to him, as he notched just 17 assists last season. Dorofeyev is showing that is no fluke, as he has five tallies in four games, albeit with zero apples. But if he continues to light the lamp while skating with Tomas Hertl and Mitch Marner, few will complain.
