Columbus and San Jose last met on February 17th in San Jose, and what ensued was chaos.
The Jackets scored twice in the first, and once in the second, while the Sharks scored once in the first and twice in the second. At the end of two periods, the score was tied at three.
The third period was constant back and forth with 22 shots between the teams with no scoring. But Boone Jenner changed all that when he scored the game-winner with just under 13 seconds on the clock to stun the fans inside the Shark Tank.
San Jose is 1-7-2 in their last 10, has lost two straight, and is 2-10-2 since February 14th. Things are not going well right now. Or they are, depending on what side of the tank debate you subscribe to.
The Sharks currently sit 8th in the Pacific Division, 16th in the West, and 32nd in the NHL.
