Heiskanen and Dunn receive elite cards

New Team of The Week players have been released in NHL 24 Hockey Ultimate Team, with each player receiving their highest rated cards of the season.

There's a little bit of something for everyone in this week, albeit with only a few truly elite cards.

    Mitch Marner - RW, PLY

The Maple Leaf winger had four points in three games this week and helped the Leafs to their seventh straight win.

Marner's 93 XFactor card has been getting rave reviews from the community and this card improves on everything it does well. With 99s in the entire hands category and elite skating Marner is a dynamic offensive player.

Beauty Backhand is helpful with the current goal scoring meta.

    Zach Hyman - LW, TWF

The 31-year-old continued his career year by scoring four goals in three games this week, bringing him to 38 on the season.

Hyman would be a great net front and cycle player but he has awful speed. A good card if you can get it cheap but the skating will drag him down at this point in the year.

    Miro Heiskanen - LD, TWD

The Dallas defender notched three points in four games and averaged just under 24 minutes time on ice per-game this week

An elite skater with a good shot and great defensive stats, Heiskanen has Elite Edges to improve his agility and would make a great #1 defenseman on any team.

    Vince Dunn - LD, TWD

The Kraken defenseman scored a goal in all three games he played last week, and logged 28 minutes in a win over the Bruins.

Dunn is a great two-way defenseman that would be a steady, strong player on any roster. His Thunderclap synergy will help if offense from the point fits your playstyle.

    Kyle Connor - LW, SNP

Connor scored four goals in three games this week and earned his highest rated card of the season.

This card is a solid sniper, but falls in the not quite good enough to play high in your lineup category.

Joel Eriksson Ek - C, TWF

Eriksson Ek had two points in three games this week but is coming off an eight-game point streak that included a six-point game against Vancouver.

A well-rounded center, Eriksson Ek lacks the faceoff stats or speed to be rostered on elite teams.
