Looking at what a second women's Team of The Year would be in NHL 24

Yesterday The Hockey News took a look at the 2024 Women’s Team of The Year, but as with all awards in hockey some extremely talented and deserving players were left on the outside looking in.

The six winners were chosen by EA out of a pool of 23 nominees. Given all of the outstanding talent we wanted to take a look at which of the nominees would make up a second Women’s Team of The Year in NHL 24.

    Marie-Philip Poulin - CAN - Forward - PWHL Montreal

Poulin is one of the best women’s players of all-time and is arguably the most popular active player. She captained Canada at the 2023 Women’s World Championship and posted eight points in seven games.

The 32-year-old was one of the first players to sign in the PWHL and currently leads Montreal with four goals and five points in five games. Poulin had a women’s TOTY card in NHL 23.
