USA held their first practice for the 4 Nations Tournament. Here is where Wild defenseman Brock Faber played.

Team USA held its first practice on Monday for the 4 Nations Tournament. USA constructed line rushes and sorted out who everyone is going to play with.

It was only the first day so anything can change. Matt Boldy was with JT Miller and Brady Tkachuk on USA's third line.

For the defense pairs, Jake Sanderson was the extra defensemen. The top pair was Jaccob Slavin with Adam Fox, the second pair was Zach Werenski with Charlie McAvoy, and the third pair was Noah Hanifin with Brock Faber.

Hanifin, 28, is a defenseman for the Vegas Golden Knights. He has six goals, 17 assists, and 23 points in 56 games this year. He is a minus-3 as well.

Faber, 22, has six goals, 16 assists, and 22 points in 52 games this year for the Wild. He is a plus-10 as well.

Both Faber and Hanifin have some offensive abilities but they will also provide some shutdown defense. It will be interesting to see how USA will navigate the d-corps the rest of the tournament and if young stud Sanderson draws in.
