
Providence College commit Alexander Rybakov was named USHL Defenseman of the Week, it was announced Monday.
Rybakov, a product of Chelyabinsk, Russia, collected one goal (a game winner), two assists and was a +6 in two games with the Sioux Falls Stampede.
Having suited up for the Stampede over the past two seasons, Rybakov has scored six goals and added 14 assists for 20 points in 106 career USHL regular season games.
With Rybakov getting ready to suit up for the Friars in 2025-26, he is already off to a great start. Having posted 10 points in 62 games from the blue line last season, Rybakov is well on his way to beating his mark in 2024-25.
