Former Ohio State and RIT defenseman Mason Klee has signed a one-year deal with the Worcester Railers (ECHL), the team announced Wednesday.
A product of Morrison, Colo., Klee spent this past season with the Buckeyes, Railers and San Jose Barracuda (AHL). In 38 games at Ohio State, Klee posted one goal and four assists for five points.
After turning pro, he spent five games with Worcester (collecting an assist) and six games with the Barracuda, where he scored a goal.
Across his five-year NCAA career, Klee had five goals and 16 assists for 21 points in 126 career games.
With Klee getting set for his first full pro season, he should be able to grab a spot with the Railers quickly and become a solid contributor for the team.
