Fargo Force forward Kuzma Voronin has committed to Maine, it was confirmed Sunday.

Voronin, a product of Yaroslavl, Russia, split this past season between the Force and the Youngstown Phantoms, putting up a combined 10 goals and 18 assists for 28 points in 49 regular season games. With the Force having made the playoffs, Voronin collected a goal in two games.

Over parts of three USHL seasons, Voronin scored 24 goals and added 30 assists for 54 points in 107 career regular season games. Prior to making the jump to junior hockey, Voronin played his minor hockey with the New Jersey Rockets and back in his home country.

As Voronin makes the jump to the NCAA this fall, he will be a solid piece of the puzzle for the Black Bears. A skilled player who makes good decisions with the puck, Voronin has the chance to step into Maine's lineup and play a consistent role out of the gates.
