Vidicek is playing for the Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL

Moncton Wildcats forward Markus Vidicek has committed to Quinnipiac, it was announced earlier this week.
Born in Montréal, QC, Vidicek is in his first season with the Wildcats. In 39 regular season games, Vidicek has 32 points (20 goals, 12 assists).
Vidicek was traded to the Wildcats from the Halifax Mooseheads ahead of the 2024-25 season. Vidicek spent four seasons with the Mooseheads, tallying 264 points (105 goals, 159 assists) in 243 regular season games.
A 2004-born skater, Vidicek is expected to make the jump to Quinnipiac for the 2025-26 season. He's a smart player who'll be able to make an impact at the NCAA level from the onset.
