    Matthew Maltais Commits To Northeastern

    Lincoln Stars forward Matthew Maltais has committed to Northeastern, it was announced late last week.

    Maltais, the captain of the Stars, has 29 points (12 goals, 17 assists) in 39 regular season games for Lincoln this season. Now in his second season with the Stars, Maltais tallied 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) in 45 regular season games last year.

    A native of St-Basile-le-Grand, QC, Maltais played 69 regular season games for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the BCHL before joining the Stars. He tallied 58 points (19 goals, 39 assists) for the Bulldogs.

    Born in 2004, Maltais is expected to make the jump to Northeastern for the 2025-26 season.
