Leslie is playing for the Vancouver Giants in the WHL

Vancouver Giants defenseman Mazden Leslie has committed to Bowling Green, it was announced earlier this week.

A native of Lloydminster, AB, Leslie, who captains the Giants, has 53 points (12 goals, 41 assists) in 47 regular season games this season.

Selected 10th overall by the Giants in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft, Leslie has played 261 games for Vancouver over four-plus seasons. As a Giant, Leslie has recorded 171 points (48 goals, 123 assists).

A 2005-born skater, Leslie is eligible for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft and is ranked as the 196th North American skater by NHL Central Scouting in its Mid-Term Rankings.
