Lukashevich was previously committed to Northern Michigan

The Michigan State Spartans have added defenseman Vladislav Lukashevich for the 2024-25 season, Nathaniel Bott reported Tuesday.
Drafted by the Florida Panthers in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft, Lukashevich was previously committed to Northern Michigan but decommitted from the team earlier this year.
In 2023-24, Lukashevich played for the Tri-City Storm (USHL) where he had 11 goals and 32 assists for 43 points in 54 regular season games. Lukashevich also saw six playoff games with the Storm, collecting four assists.
Prior to coming to North America last season, Lukashevich spent parts of four seasons playing with the MHL's Loko Yaroslavl, putting up 48 points in 143 regular season games.
With Lukashevich joining Michigan State next season, he will have big shoes to fill following the departure of Artyom Levshunov. While that may be a lot of pressure, Lukashevich produced strong numbers in the USHL and should have no problem being a difference maker at the NCAA level.
