Swapping one former New Jersey Devils forward for another.

That is what Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice will do Monday night for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers

Winger A.J. Greer, who previously played 10 games for the Devils, will return to the Panthers' lineup after missing the first two games of the series with an injury. He will replace Jesper Boqvist.

Greer has scored two goals and is credited with 45 hits this postseason. He will reunite with his linemates Jonah Gadjovich and Tomas Nosek. Per Panthers reporter Jameson Olive, "Florida has led 4-0 in goals and 24-17 in shots on goal at 5-on-5 when the line of Greer, Gadjovich, and Nosek has been deployed."

"He has been such a positive part of what we do, but that would include Jesper Boqvist, who’s coming out,” Maurice said of Greer. "He is another guy that’s played very well for us in these playoffs. There is that positive vibe. There is a chemistry on that line and positionally they are structured really well, so we expect that tonight."

Game 3 is scheduled for 8:00 PM EDT. Fans can view the game on TNT, truTV, MAX, CBC, SN, TVAS. The series is currently tied at 1-1.
