A dream season in the desert

Jordan Philbert, Sherbrooke, Que.

The Phoenix Coyotes have proven everybody wrong. I say their team this year is probably the greatest team they have ever assembled.

With the acquisitions of Wojtek Wolski, Derek Morris and Lee Stempniak at the deadline to help bolster the overall look of the team, I don't see why these guys cannot go far into these playoffs.

They have been the Cinderella story all year, ever since going through all the turmoil in the summer. The last time I can remember Phoenix having this good of a team when they moved to the desert was when back in the early 2000’s when they had the likes of Dallas Drake, Keith Tkachuk, Nik Khabibulin and Jeremy Roenick.

The Yotes are in good shape for today and for the future. I believe, if they can play like this for a few seasons and bring up the prospects well, they could possibly win a Cup.

For the playoffs this year, if my team doesn't make it, I know which team I will be rooting for.

Phoenix, prove us wrong once again, it puts a smile on our faces.
