A happy little man

I wanted to give a shout out to the Rangers’ Brandon Dubinsky.

I brought my three-year-old son to his first hockey game when the Rangers were visiting Tampa Bay. I've been a diehard Rangers fan since the early 1970s and I'm passing on the tradition.

On this night Dubinsky made my son a happy little man. As we watched the pre-game warmups Dubinsky came by and tossed a puck over the boards. I caught it and handed it to a child in front of me as directed by Dubinsky. He then grabbed another puck and tossed it to my son and I as we stood there in our Rangers jerseys.

My son Blaise was so excited he had to go show mom.

The game was great: a few fights, a late tying goal and a shootout win for the Rangers. Thank you Brandon Dubinsky for making my son a happy little man and for thinking about the younger fans out there.

Thank you! Let’s go Rangers!
