A re-awarding experience

Gord Allan, London, Ont.

I would like to thank The Hockey News (as I have been a subscriber for more than 30 years) for the trip that I won to Las Vegas to attend the NHL Awards June 17-19.

It was great for my friend Bob Mantha and me. I also enjoyed meeting your publisher, Caroline Andrews, and being interviewed by editor in chief Jason Kay.

As it turned out, my friend Bob (formerly an associate coach with the London Knights of the Ontario League) and I also met a friend of his, Claude Julien, in the afternoon before the Awards show. It was great to see Claude win the Jack Adams Award that evening and for us to be at the after party.
