GLENDALE, Ariz. - Francois Beauchemin scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period and David LeNevue stopped 26 shots in the Anaheim Ducks' 3-1 exhibition victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday night.

Travis Moen and Troy Bodie also scored for the Ducks (2-1-0).

Daniel Carcillo scored for the Coyotes (0-4-0).

Beauchemin snapped a 1-1 tie on a shot from the right point over goalie Ilya Bryzgalov's right shoulder, his first goal and second point of the pre-season.

Moen made it 3-1 with a short-handed goal with 11:29 to go.

Anaheim took a 1-0 lead just 3:40 into the game when Coyotes defenceman Kurt Sauer fumbled the puck behind the Phoenix net and bounced it off Bryzgalov's right leg and into the net while trying to regain control.

Carcillo tied the game with 49.1 seconds left in the first when he deflected Viktor Tikhonov's shot from the top of the right faceoff circle past LeNeveu.

Tikhonov, the grandson of the longtime coach of the Soviet national team, has a goal and two assists in his first three pre-season games.
