Anders Eriksson scores overtime winner as Flames edge Bulldogs 2-1

MOLINE, Ill. - Anders Eriksson scored 49 seconds into overtime to give the Quad City Flames a 2-1 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs in AHL play Friday night.

Eriksson took the rebound after teammate Kris Chucko's shot was stopped by Hamilton goalie Marc Denis.

Sergei Kostitsyn gave Hamilton (42-25-3-0) a 1-0 lead in the first period.

Quad City (28-29-6-6) tied the game with 59 seconds left in the third period on goal by Chucko.

Leland Irving made 28 saves in net for the Flames. Denis stopped 36 shots for the Bulldogs.
