CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- With several of the team's

offensive threats sidelined due to injuries, the Florida

Panthers have turned to goaltender Craig Anderson.

Anderson hopes to deliver once again as the Panthers look to

extend their winning streak to three games when they take on the

Calgary Flames on Friday.

Making his eighth consecutive start, Anderson made 41 saves and

notched his third shutout of the season in the Panthers' 2-0

victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday. Anderson also

helped Florida defeat the Ottawa Senators, 4-3, in overtime on

Injured players David Booth (shoulder), Cory Stillman

(concussion), Nathan Horton (laceration), Richard Zednik (elbow)

and Cory Murphy (shoulder) all practiced on Wednesday, but were

still unable to play.

Regardless, Anderson was superb and the Panthers are 3-0-1 when

he makes 40-plus saves.

The Flames have also gotten stellar production from goaltender

Miikka Kiprusoff, who is tied for the league-lead with 16

victories. Before falling to the Montreal Canadiens, 4-1, on

Tuesday, he registered his third shutout in a 3-0 win against

the New York Rangers on Sunday.

Calgary has lost two straight, including a 4-3 overtime defeat

to the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday, when Kiprusoff was given
