Andrei Kostitsyn's five points lead Hamilton over Rochester 8-4

The Bulldogs zoomed to a 3-0 lead in the first 12:57, with Kostitsyn assisting on goals by Zach Stortini, Mikhail Grabovski and Dan Jancevski, and the Americans never recovered. Hamilton pulled to within six points of the first-place Americans in the North Division with the win. The Bulldogs are 16-10-0-1 and have 33 points. Rochester fell to 19-6-1-0 and has 39 points.

Rochester cut the deficit to 4-3 in the second period on Clarke MacArthur's goal at 14:40, but Kostitsyn scored on a breakaway at 17:32 to restore a two-goal lead.

Mathieu Biron, Jonathan Ferland and Francis Lemieux scored the other goals for Hamilton. Mark Mancari and Janis Sprukts also scored for Rochester.
