Accused looter turned in to police by family member

VANCOUVER – A youth accused of looting a downtown luxury store during Vancouver’s Stanley Cup riot appears to have made a choice between facing his family and facing the police.

Burnaby RCMP say the young man, who cannot be identified due to his age, was arrested Thursday after he turned himself into police.

He arrived at the detachment with a family member after images of what police say appear to be him looting during the Game 7 riot appeared on the Internet.
