Alexander Semin’s overtime goal gives Capitals 3-2 win over Thrashers

Semin took a spinning backhanded feed from Steve Eminger, skated down the slot and put a high shot over goalie Kari Lehtonen’s right shoulder, giving the Capitals their second straight victory with his 21st goal.

Alex Ovechkin’s power-play goal at 12:18 of the third forced a 2-2 tie.
