Alexandre Bolduc leads Manitoba Moose over the Iowa Chops 2-1

DES MOINES, Iowa – Alexandre Bolduc scored in shootout and in regulation to lift the Manitoba Moose to a 2-1 victory over the Iowa Chops on Saturday in the AHL.

Mike Keane also notched a goal in the shootout, while Cory Schneider blocked 23 of 24 shots and robbed all four of Iowa’s shootout attempts, as Manitoba earned their second consecutive win over the Chops after Friday’s 6-1 victory.

Jean-Philippe Levasseur made 29 saves for the Chops.

At 8:23, Iowa opened the scoring when Troy Bodie snapped the puck passed Schneider to put his team in the game’s first lead.

At 14:35 Guillaume Desbiens set up Bolduc to net his second in as many nights to knot the game at one.
