CHICAGO – The Chicago Wolves have signed 11-year National Hockey League veteran Jamie Rivers.
The Ottawa native collected 17 goals, 49 assists, 66 points and 385 penalty minutes in 454 career NHL games with the St. Louis Blues, New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers, Detroit Red Wings and Phoenix Coyotes.
Last season, the 33-year-old defenceman skated in 18 games for Moscow Spartak of the Russian Super League, recording three assists and 42 penalty minutes.
A two-time American Hockey League All-Star, Rivers has 131 assists, 163 points and 355 penalty minutes in 270 career AHL contests with the Worcester IceCats, San Antonio Rampage, Grand Rapids Griffins, Hershey Bears and Peoria Rivermen.
