Blackhawks recall goaltender Lalime following four-game conditioning stint

Lalime, 32, went 3-1-0 with a 2.49 goals-against average and .930 save percentage for Norfolk. The St. Bonaventure, Que., had off-season surgery to repair a herniated disk in his back and hasn’t played a game for Chicago.

Lalime is 171-130-32 with a 2.49 goals-against average in 353 career games with Pittsburgh, Ottawa and St. Louis. He’s expected to battle Brian Boucher for the backup role behind starter Nikolai Khabibulin.
