Boston Bruins send defenceman Matt Lashoff to AHL Providence

BOSTON – The Bruins reassigned defenceman Matt Lashoff to the team’s AHL affiliate in Providence on Thursday.

The 22-year-old Lashoff was called up Nov. 19 and was a healthy scratch for the Bruins’ last three games.

Before rejoining Boston, Lashoff had three goals, 10 assists and 21 penalty minutes in 15 games for Providence.

Lashoff split the 2007-08 season between the two teams. He had a goal and four assists in five games for Boston, and nine goals and 27 assists in 60 games for Providence.
