Boston Bruins send goalie Brian Finley to Providence after a loss in debut

Finley was recalled from Providence on Tuesday. The Bruins lost 6-4 to the Toronto Maple Leafs in his first game Thursday, when he gave up two goals in relief of Tim Thomas.

Finley signed with the Bruins in July after spending four years in the Nashville Predators’ organization. He has played eight games with Providence this season, with a 5-3-0 record and 3.08 goals-against average.
