Canadiens send right-wing Aaron Palushaj to AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens assigned right-winger Aaron Palushaj to the American Hockey League’s Hamilton Bulldogs on Wednesday.

Palushaj was a healthy scratch in the Canadiens’ 4-3 shootout loss earlier.

Palushaj, 22, has played in 19 games for Montreal this season. The five-foot-11, 187-pound forward earned his first NHL point on Feb. 5 with an assist in a 3-0 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

A native of Livonia, Mich., Palushaj has suited up for 30 games with the Bulldogs this season. He leads the team with 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) and has recorded 102 shots on goal.
