Canucks centre Morrison out 12 weeks after undergoing wrist surgery

VANCOUVER – Vancouver Canucks centre Brendan Morrison could be out for up to 12 weeks after undergoing surgery on his right wrist.

Morrison first injured the wrist during training camp but learned Thursday that he required surgery.

He showed up at GM Place on Monday in a cast that ran from his fingers past his elbow to his upper arm. He’s expected to remain in a cast for at least six weeks
