Chicago Blackhawks activate Sammy Pahlsson from injured reserve

CHICAGO – The Chicago Blackhawks have activated newly acquired centre Sammy Pahlsson from the injured reserve list.

Chicago acquired Pahlsson from the Anaheim Ducks along with defenceman Logan Stephenson and a conditional draft pick in exchange for defenceman James Wisniewski and centre Petri Kontiola on March 4.

Pahlsson has been recovering from mononucleosis, but he’s expected to make his debut with the Blackhawks in Columbus.
