Coyotes’ D Kurt Sauer expected to miss four weeks with lower-body injury

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Phoenix Coyotes defenceman Kurt Sauer is expected to be sidelined at least four weeks because of a lower-body injury.

Sauer was hurt Saturday night in Phoenix’s victory over Dallas.

“It is a big blow for us,” general manager Don Maloney said Sunday. “It will open up an opportunity for someone else to step in and play well.”
