Coyotes name Penticton’s Brad Treliving assistant general manager

“Brad brings a diverse skill set to what we are trying to accomplish here,” GM Don Maloney said Wednesday. “His work at the CHL has been excellent and he is a great addition to our front office team.”

Treliving, 37, got a multiyear contract. Terms were not divulged.

Treliving co-founded the Western Professional Hockey League in 1996 and served as vice-president and director of hockey operations for five seasons before becoming president of the Central.
